Can we agree that the Superuser Network Administrator is the biggest threat to the future of democracy?
The Cloud Strike catastrophe of July 2024 cost billions of dollars in recovery costs worldwide and took down automated systems for hours and days (for Delta Airlines, a week or more). It put Windows servers and PCs out of service through the single point of networking failure, a catastrophic flaw in binary cyberspace. The disaster will be industrialised as a Weapon of Mass Destruction by enemy states, the CRINK-gang, (China, Russia, Iran, North Korea) and launched as the opening salvo of World War III. The attack will use stolen super user credentials, malware variations, zero-day attacks, the confused deputy flaw, and off-the-shelf ransomware kits deployed globally, halting not just the world of windows, but synchronized to freeze all forms of centralised superuser computer systems refined to destroy backup recovery. This vulnerability will be coordinated by EAI (enemy AI) to halt the civilized world in a flash. Recovery will take weeks, if not months, exposing the world to massive conventional attacks. Ultimately, the increased surveillance needed by conventional binary computer operating systems will create an Orwellian surveillance dictatorship run by unelected industrialists. IMHO, the only solution is Industrial Strength Computer Science founded on the Church-Turing Thesis using the laws of Lambda Calculus to program digital security in depth and in detail as a Church-Turing computer and avoid all single points of failure in cyberspace.
