The Spanner in the AI Works

The announcement of the Stargate Initiative unveiled a monumental $500 billion (about $1,500 per person in the US) investment in AI infrastructure by private sector giants like OpenAI, Oracle, and SoftBank. This initiative aims to revolutionize the AI landscape by pouring substantial resources into its development.

Second, Saudi Arabia committed a staggering $600 billion (about $1,800 per person in the US) to AI infrastructure, an investment made right after Donald Trump’s conversation with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. This move highlights the global race to dominate AI technology and infrastructure, with countries eager to position themselves at the forefront.

Third, an executive order issued by President Trump set an ambitious goal to "make America the world capital in artificial intelligence." This order included a 180-day deadline to develop an AI action plan designed to enhance and sustain America’s global AI dominance. The rapid succession of these events happened within just the first three days of Trump taking office, setting the stage for substantial future developments.

But there is a spanner in the works. AI and binary computers will amplify the centralized powers that harm America, increase crime and discontent and change the course our Democracy Republic into a digital dictatorship run by a few global monopolies. This is unless the Stargate Initiative takes action to update personal computers, smart phones and all forms of mobile access devices to follow the Church-Turing Thesis.

With the next 1,458 days (about 4 years) uncertain, we can speculate about potential outcomes: lucrative contracts for businesses innovating with modern technology, significant advancements in national security led by top minds, and considerable foreign investments, exemplified by SoftBank and Saudi Arabia’s contributions, bolstering AI capital inflows.

This progress will occur in a favorable environment of low corporate tax rates and a bull market. However, the ethical implications of AI development cannot be ignored. Elon Musk, a close advisor to President Trump, has warned that AI could pose an existential threat to humanity. This fear mirrors concerns from the Manhattan Project era, where the advent of atomic technology sparked fears of global annihilation.

Delving into AI’s ethical dilemma, exploring predictions that AI may surpass human intelligence by 2029 and reach singularity by 2045 highlights the concerns of outdated binary computers that hide and foster destructive malware. By reducing regulations, we risking innovating ourselves into extinction?

To prevent this requires Industrial Strength Computers that crush malware on the spot and Industrial Strength Computer Science that enforces the laws of Lambda Calculus. The forgotten half of the seminal work by Professor Alonzo Church who guided his inspired student Alan Turing through his Phd Thesis that set the digital world on fire.

The historical precedent of the Manhattan project holds a similar fear, It created the first WDM that could end the world as we know it. The first globally dangerous technological breakthrough, but the full consequences of AI advancement is far more serious because the whole world is as risk because it is build on outdated binary computers from the earliest days of the batch processing mainframe. with a flawed single points of catastrophic failure. Centralization is the threat. It gifts almighty digital power to the handful of global corporations with a stranglehold on information and technological progress. They are the digital dictators of a second dark age unless we must control the future. This cannot remain uncertain or the digital dictators will control us, democracy will die, and the American Experiment will end.

The U.S. must lead the AI race to reach a civilized end game that protects democracy, by purging the centralization of digital power, protecting individual freedom for citizens living in cyberspace. Indeed, the future of digital democracy depends on this. Otherwise enemy nations will misuse the gifted power of dictatorial binary computers and hidden digital weapons to dominate and corrupt global information and reshape global dynamics. The potential of AI must be contained democratically or it will control us as information peasants in a digital reincarnation of the Middle Ages ruled by the technology barons.

These are existential questions once faced by the Manhattan Project and updating the binary computer with the power of a Church-Turing Machine to follow the natural laws of the Lambda Calculus is a vital step to distribute power incrementally and govern AI democratically.

Freedom, equality, and justice are essential to American from the start and they must pervade the Information Age where AI is king must and computer science is in control. A unique opportunity exists to establish groundbreaking technology foundations with the potential to transform life, not only our nation but the entire world.
